This event will help you get a good understanding of what Blockchain is and how it can be applied followed by a panel discussion. We will invite women from different areas to the panel to give you more insight on challenges, the future of blockchain and even job opportunities. Details on the speaker and panel participants will be announced over the course of the next weeks.

Søren Fog – Co-Founder Crypto Valley Association
Founder and CEO of iprotus and inventor of its core technology. Founder and lead of TokenBooster. Co-founder of Crypto Valley Association. Blockchain and Distributed Ledger thought leader and global scale advisor and speaker. Over 25 years of experience in leadership, IT and software development, architecture and business development within Internet, financials and pharmaceuticals. Founded and chaired one of Denmark’s first Internet Service Providers and a number of other start-ups. 10+ years of consulting and advising in a wide range of related disciplines, such as hard-core development, systems architecture, feasibility studies, start-up mentoring, entrepreneurship, business development, leading software projects and various technology presentations, workshops and training for techies and non-techies.

Anton Golub – Co-Founder Lykke
Anton is a co-founder of Lykke Corp and the company’s Chief Research Officer. Prior to Lykke, Anton worked as a quantitative analyst at Olsen Ltd, a Zurich-based asset management company. He also worked at the Manchester Business School as a Marie Curie Research Fellow on high-frequency trading, market microstructure, and flash crashes. In 2012, he was invited to participate in the Foresight Project—the Future of Computer Trading in Financial Markets—an international project on algorithmic, high-frequency trading funded by the treasury of the UK. Anton was involved in several research projects funded by the European Union, including risk management and risk reporting, self-organized information processing, and criticality and emergence in multilevel systems. He is currently a supervisory board member for the BigDataFinance project. He has coauthored eight research papers and two book chapters.
Carla Bünger – International Sales & Marketing Specialist
Carla Bünger is a marketing and sales expert. Building strong brands on solid foundations and convincing clients to buy its underlying products gives her huge satisfaction. She collected her experience through managing various international consumer brands, for companies such as Nestlé, Lindt and Coty. She discovered her passion for blockchain technology roughly 2 years ago and has since been actively participating in the community of Swiss Crypto Valley. The sheer endless application possibilities make her strive for more and she is drawing energy and enthusiasm from developing new business schemes around the subject. Today she acts as project leader, connector and advisor to various Blockchain start-ups like Lykke and Smart Containers Group.
Kevin Lally – Executive Manager Crypto Valley Association
An Irish national, raised and educated with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Masters degree in Business Management, Kevin worked as a Software Engineer with Ericsson and as a consultant with Accenture in Ireland before receiving a request to join Man Group Investment Bank in Switzerland in September 2008. Shortly thereafter he founded his own Swiss consultancy company, Alkev, in 2009. The last 10 years Kevin has fulfilled successful mandates for Switzerland’s largest energy company Alpiq AG, Julius Bär and UBS in the Wealth Management industry, SIX Group in financial services and most recently in 2016 and 2017 the global insurance company Zurich Insurance. Kevin is very happy to have joined the Crypto Valley Association in February of this year as Executive Manager.
Emi Lorincz – Co-Founder Women in Blockchain Switzerland (Moderator)
After various roles in banking, oil trading and aircraft financing, in different countries, Emi now focuses on the world of cryptocurrency. She is passionate about blockchain usage. She is committed to a less centralized world and adoption of digital assets. One of her goals for 2018 is to bring more women into the ecosystem, not only in the Crypto Valley but across Europe. As a co-founder of Women in Blockchain Switzerland (#WBS), she actively advocates for the Crypto Valley Associations, Investments and Events working group (cryptovalley.swiss).
She is leading the European office of a crypto start-up out of Zug.
