On the 3rd October, Girls in Tech had the pleasure of attending the #WeTechTogether conference at Technopark in Zürich along with around 200 other masked-up participants. The conference was filled with diverse and inspiring talks and workshops with the aim of creating an empowering environment for everyone to discover and navigate the fields of STEM.
One of our personal highlights included the Keynote presentation by Yvonne Bettkober, Country Manager at AWS. Her talk was so motivating that the entire room listened silently in awe throughout her 30-minute time slot and thanked her with a standing ovation.
After the morning sessions concluded, all the participants scurried off to one of the many workshops, but not before enjoying some delicious food offered by “Zum Guten Heinrich”, a local gastronomy start-up with the aim of reducing food waste with their catering options focusing on sustainability.
The #WeTechTogether conference was exceptionally well organized and we give a special thanks to all the organizers for shaping it and allowing us to be a part of it.
