We are here for you!

While the world is in lockdown, we want to make sure that we stay connected to our valuable members! So we thought why not producing a podcast to not only be connected with good advice, but also through our voices!

Here we are, let’s introduce us first:

So let’s get started with some important questions!

One thing we are all sure about in this Covid-19 lockdown situation is, that technology helps us tremendously to support us during this time of social distancing and remote working. We were curious to hear, how our teams is dealing with the situation by telling us what kind of apps they are using!

Let’s hear what they have to say:

Recommended apps: Downdog App / TikTok / Housparty / Zoom

But there is more to technology than apps.

Listen to what the Girls in Tech Switzerland team thinks how technology has helped us so far to survive the lockdown and how we are using technology going forward:

We are in lockdown, how do we cope with it?

We are all in this together! It is hard to stay at home all the time and keeping sane, listen to how our team is managing and what they do to keep mentally and physically healthy during this time:

Are we always just talking about technology? No!

Some of our team members are taking a break once in a while to read a book (unless you count ebooks as technology). We have asked them, what books they recommend to read:

Recommended books:

  • Invisible Women: Exposing Data Bias in a World Designed for Men by Caroline Criado-Perez
  • Eradication: Ridding the World of Diseases Forever? by Nancy Stepan
  • Educated by Tara Westover
  • What works by Iris Bohnet
  • Let My People Go Surfing: The Education of a Reluctant Businessman by Yvon Chouinard
  • Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson
  • Becoming by Michelle Obama
  • 21 Lessons for the 21st Century by Yuval Noah Harari

It’s a wrap! With some famous last words!
